I miss my children and friends and family, but love our new life here in Asheville.
My darling husband and I are enjoying our life here in Asheville. We love the people,the sights,hiking and finding new places to eat.
By day I am an elementary school Guidance Counselor. I love my job, adore the kids,love the school. By night and weekends I am an avid cook, knitter,gardener, and reader.
Hi Annie. I don’t know if you remember me. You made beautiful curtains for my home and taught me some good lessons in rearing children and just the art of lilfe. I am Carol’s old friend since we were merely preschoolers. I have told Carol how much I would love to see Asheville as I have frequently visited Charleston, S.C. and often wanted to go to Asheville. Carol told me about your beautiful home. Carol sent me the link to your blog and I have been reading and wondering how you keep such an amazing attitude during such a difficult time. But, I remember what an amazing woman you are. You have the ability to make people feel calm, you did that for me!!!!
I just remember always looking forward to going to your house or you coming over to mine in the quest to find the perfect window treatment. My prayer for you and Bob is that you enjoy every moment together in your beautiful God’s country.
